Meet ‘Flora’ …
…with a plunge he seizes her neck in his fang-like teeth – a gush of blood and a hideous sucking noise follows …’ In the dark shadows of London’s cobbled back streets lurks a hungry predator – the beautiful Flora has fallen victim to his feeding frenzy and will be forever under his powers. Flora is made from modelling chocolate and sugar paste, and over-painted/highlighted with petal dusts. She stands just 7” tall on a base of fondant cobbles. The backdrop is the result of multiple image overlays printed onto an edible icing sheet. You can see the start of my idea and the extra details on my inspiration board.
